No New Stuff!

My brother is undertaking this project where he is not buying anything new. It's sort of a statement on consumer culture in our society. It should serve as a illustrative document on alternatives to our wasteful commodity system and help people think more about REDUCING, RECYCLYING, and REUSING

This is the third video in the series. I did the opening animation sequence and I also talk about donut economics at the end. It's worth watching.

one of the biggest differences between boston and l.a. is the existence of small donut shops and the superior quality of their donuts. and it pains me to say this, since i'm such a dunkin donuts devotee -- but you're right, years ago the donut quality plummeted.

out here there are a couple of local chains (yum yum donuts) and plenty of little independent stores (miss donuts, around the corner from me) and their donuts are pretty incredible.

also, you're working for nasa? wtf?! congratulations.

i love how all the comments are about the last 15 seconds of the video. so i'll keep it going:
i agree with you when it comes to Dunkin Donuts!!! I feel bad because there's Dandy Donuts right around here and i've never ever been there. when my granmother was growing up she worked there and live right behind it... i should stop by before dunkin donuts kicks it out of town!
